"The bike was at our hotel when we arrived. Perfect fit, everything in order. I'd ridden Pantani and Contador routes — the Alto de Letras is a completely different experience."

We're not a generic rental shop. We're cyclists who have ridden these same roads for 8 years. That knowledge goes with your bike: the brand, the tune, the right size, the mechanic contact in each town along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions

A copy of your passport as deposit. We don't hold cash or charge your credit card. That's it.
Minimum 2 days. There's no maximum — we can also organize long-term rentals for multi-week trips.
We send a driver to El Dorado airport to pick up your bike box on arrival. We store it safely and return it to your hotel on the day before your departure. You travel light throughout your trip.
You have a direct WhatsApp line with our team. We help you remotely or connect you with a trusted local mechanic in the nearest town. We've mapped the mechanics on all major routes.
Contact us and we'll check options depending on your route. For our guided tour routes (Bogotá–Medellín, Bogotá–Barichara) we already have this organized.
We recommend at least 1 week in advance. In high season (Apr–Jun and Sep–Oct for Europeans, Jul–Aug for Southern Cone) the earlier the better as availability is limited.

Years of
experience

We started with a conviction — the best way to know this country is from a bike saddle.

"Everything started long before we had a name. It started with the certainty that Colombia — with its impossible mountains, sleepy towns, unmapped mule tracks — was too good to go untold."

We founded Ecoaventuras en Bici with one conviction: the best way to know this country is from a bike saddle, at a slow pace, without skipping anything. Years of routes, of mistakes, of learning which roads are worth it and which aren't, of meeting village mechanics, of finding the best caldo after a 1,500m climb.

Today we are Travel and Bike Colombia. Today we do two things well: we lend premium bikes to international cyclists who want to explore Colombia at their own pace — and we organize tours for those who prefer we handle everything, always adapted to each rider's time and fitness.

In 8 years we've accompanied cyclists from Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Argentina, Chile and a dozen more countries. Almost all of them left with something they didn't expect: all of Colombia.

2017

Ecoaventuras en Bici founded

First guided tours in the Bogotá savanna region. MTB and a deep love for Colombian roads.

2019

First Bogotá → Medellín route

Completing the Alto de Letras for the first time with international clients. A milestone that defined our direction.

2021

Launch of the Bike Rental service

We realized that many cyclists wanted to explore independently. Hotel delivery became our signature differentiator.

2025

Travel and Bike Colombia

New name, same soul. Rental as main product, flexible tours as the natural complement.

What we believe

🚲

Rental without complications

The perfect bike at your hotel, no bureaucracy. That's the starting point — and it has to be seamless.

🗓️

Tours that adapt to you

Not the other way around. Your time and fitness level dictate the itinerary. We design around your reality.

🌿

Authenticity before spectacle

Dirt roads and family farms first. We choose accommodation one by one. We ride every route before offering it.

👥

Small groups, big attention

Maximum 10 cyclists per tour. You'll never be a number. Our guides know your name before the first pedal stroke.

We're here.
